- Browse the trending feed and explore Warps created by others.
- Remix public Warps to create new generations in the Evolution lineage.
- Record and share performances using Jam Mode.
- Export your creations as audio (WAV), visual (PNG), or video (MP4) files.
- Create an account, set a username, and manage your Account Settings.
- Sign up for updates via the About section of the site and manage your email notification preferences from Account Settings.
You may not use this site to:
- Post, share, record, or distribute content that contains hate speech, racial or ethnic slurs, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, ableism, or discrimination of any kind.
- Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate any individual or group.
- Defame, slander, or libel any person or entity.
- Impersonate any person, organisation, or brand, including via your username or Warp content.
- Upload or distribute content that is obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit.
- Infringe on the copyright, intellectual property, or privacy rights of others.

- Artificially inflate view counts, manipulate the trending feed, or use automated tools to interact with the platform.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, its infrastructure, or other users' accounts.
- Use the platform for commercial advertising or spam without express written permission.
Violations of this section may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or a permanent ban at our sole discretion and without notice. We reserve the right to report illegal activity to the relevant authorities.
2. Your Creations (User Generated Content)
Any audio (WAV), visual (PNG), or video (MP4) files you export from Webb Warp are licensed to you under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This licence applies to exported files only. Warps saved and hosted on the platform are subject to a broader hosting and remix licence (see Sections 4 and 5).
Under this licence you are free to:
- Download: Save exported audio, visual, or video files to your own device.
- Share: Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
Under the following terms:
- Attribution: You must give appropriate credit to the platform. We suggest: "Made with Webb Warp (webbwarp.com)".
- Non-Association: You must not attribute the authorship of your specific recordings, performances, or compositions to Dan Webb personally. You may not suggest that Dan Webb or Webb Warp endorses you or your use without separate, express written permission.
Right to Dissociate: In accordance with Section 3(a)(3) of the CC BY 4.0 License, Dan Webb and Webb Warp reserve the right to request the removal of attribution from any use or adaptation of exported material that is deemed objectionable or inconsistent with the values of the platform. Upon request, you must remove the credit to the extent reasonably practicable.
3. Accounts & Usernames
You may sign in to Webb Warp using your Google account via Google One Tap or Google OAuth, or via an email one-time code sent to your email address. By signing in, you authorise us to collect and store the information associated with your chosen sign-in method, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Username: After signing in, you may choose a username (e.g. @yourname). Your username is publicly visible on the trending feed and on your Warps. Usernames must be 3–20 characters and may contain letters, numbers, and underscores only. We reserve the right to remove usernames that violate these Terms of Use, including but not limited to usernames that contain hate speech, slurs, or that impersonate others, and to permanently block such usernames from re-registration. We also reserve the right to reclaim usernames that have been inactive for an extended period.
- Account responsibility: You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your session or use another person's account.
- Account deletion: You may delete your account at any time from Account Settings. On deletion, your personal information (name, email, profile image) and session data are permanently removed. Public Warps associated with your account will be anonymised rather than deleted, disassociating them from your identity and attributing them to Anonymous — this preserves the integrity of the remix Evolution lineage for other users. If you wish to request full deletion of your Warp content, you may do so via the Feedback form on the site or by contacting us directly at the email in Section 12.
- Reserved rights: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use, without notice.
4. Warps, Remixing & the Evolution Lineage
Webb Warp is built around a collaborative remix culture. Understanding how Warps work, and what sharing one means, is important before you save and make your creation public.
- What a Warp is: A Warp is a saved snapshot of your creative session, including visual settings, audio configuration, and any Jam Mode performance recording. When you save a Warp, it is assigned a unique share URL.
- Public Warps may appear in the trending feed and are visible to all visitors. By making a Warp public, you accept that it may be viewed, listened to, remixed, and shared by others. Other users may visit your Warp, export audio, visual, or video files from it, and use those in their own creative or commercial projects under the CC BY 4.0 licence described in Section 2. This is a core and intentional feature of the platform.
- Jam Mode recordings in public Warps: If your Warp contains a vocal or musical performance recorded in Jam Mode, other users may export, sample, remix, download, share, or build upon that recording in their own creative or commercial projects. Please only make Warps containing personal recordings public if you are fully comfortable with this.
- Private Warps are only accessible to you as the signed-in creator and will not appear in the trending feed. Other users cannot access a Private Warp even if they have the direct URL. New Warps are set to public by default. You can change this at any time from your My Warps page.
- The Evolution lineage: When a user remixes a public Warp, a new generation is created in the Evolution lineage. This lineage is publicly visible on any Warp. If a Warp was previously public and remixed during that time, it may continue to appear in other users' Evolution lineage even after being set to private, attributed to Anonymous rather than your username.
- Hosting & promotional licence: By saving a Warp, you grant Dan Webb and Webb Warp a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute your content, and to use it for marketing and promotional purposes related to the platform.
- Feed integrity: Any attempt to artificially manipulate the trending feed, including but not limited to inflating view counts, coordinating inauthentic engagement, or using automated tools, will be investigated. We reserve the right to take appropriate action as deemed necessary, including removal of content and account suspension.
- We reserve the right to remove any Warp that violates these Terms of Use from the platform without notice.
5. Jam Mode & Performance Content
Jam Mode allows you to record a vocal or musical performance directly in the browser and embed it within your Warp. Please read Section 4 carefully before making a Warp containing a Jam Mode recording public, as other users may remix, sample, and use your recording in their own projects, including commercially.
- Ownership: You retain full ownership of the recorded performance component of your Warp. The visual and audio engine elements of the Warp remain the property of Dan Webb and Webb Warp as described in Section 7.
- Hosting & Promotional Licence: By saving and sharing a Warp, you grant the hosting and remix licence described in Section 4. This applies equally to any Jam Mode recording embedded in that Warp.
- Copyright Warranty: You warrant and represent that you own all rights to any recordings you make, or that you have obtained all necessary legal permissions from the relevant rights holders. Do not record copyrighted material belonging to others without permission.
- Prohibited content: You agree not to use Jam Mode to create, upload, or distribute content that:
- Infringes on the copyright or intellectual property of others;
- Contains hate speech, racial or ethnic slurs, or promotes violence;
- Constitutes defamation, slander, or libel against any person or entity;
- Is obscene, pornographic, or offensive;
- Or that otherwise violates the values and standards set out in Section 1 of these Terms of Use.
We reserve the right to delete any such content immediately and without notice, and to ban users who violate this policy.
6. Reporting Content
The platform includes a function to report Warps that may violate these Terms of Use. By submitting a report, you confirm that it is made in good faith.
- Reports are reviewed at our sole discretion. We have no obligation to respond to reports or to take any particular action as a result.
- We reserve the right to remove reported content, suspend accounts, or take any other action we deem appropriate, without notice.
- Submitting false or malicious reports may result in account suspension.
7. Platform & Intellectual Property
Exports generated from Webb Warp are licensed to you under CC BY 4.0 as described in Section 2, giving you broad rights to use, share, and commercialise them. The Webb Warp platform itself, including all technology, assets, and design, remains the exclusive property of Dan Webb.
All Rights Reserved regarding:

Your continued use of the site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
