Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 6, 2026
Welcome to Webb Warp (Experiment No. 1). Your privacy is important. This Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By using the Site, you agree to the practices outlined below.
1. Information We Collect
a) Automatically Collected Usage Data
We use tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to collect information about how visitors interact with the Site. This may include:
- Pages viewed and time spent on the site.
- Interaction data (clicks, scrolls, and tool usage).
- Technical data (browser type, device type, and IP address for security and compliance).
b) Personal Information
When you voluntarily sign up for our newsletter or waitlist (e.g., "Experiment No. 2"), we collect your email address. We do not collect names or payment information at this time.
c) Content and Creation Metadata
When you create, save, or edit a "Warp" on our platform, we collect and store data necessary to generate your unique link. This includes:
- Warp Data: The specific audio, visual, and grid settings of your creation.
- Timestamps: We automatically record the date and time of every save or edit. Please be aware that these timestamps are publicly visible in the creation's "Evolution" (version history) list to anyone who has access to the share link.
2. Augmented Reality (AR) Features
This application includes an Augmented Reality (AR) mode that utilises your device's camera to overlay digital content onto your physical environment. We prioritise your privacy regarding camera usage:
- No Data Collection: We do not record, store, transmit, or analyse any video or image data from your camera. The camera feed is processed strictly locally on your device to enable the AR experience.
- Local Processing: All AR visualisations are generated in real-time within your local browser session. No visual data of your surroundings is ever sent to our servers.
- Voluntary Sharing: We cannot see your surroundings or your AR creations. The only way we view your content is if you choose to capture a screenshot or screen recording and explicitly share it with us (e.g., by tagging @webbwarp on social media or sending it to us directly).
- Permissions: Your browser will request permission to access your camera solely for the purpose of activating AR mode. You may revoke this permission at any time via your browser settings.
3. Jam Mode & Audio Privacy
Our "Jam Mode" allows you to record vocal or musical performances. We prioritise the privacy of your voice and performances:
- We Will Never Listen in the Background: Your microphone is only active when you explicitly grant permission via your browser and manually initiate a recording. We do not continuously monitor, listen to, or record your environment.
- Local-First Processing: While you are jamming, all audio processing and visualisation happen strictly on your device. No audio data is transmitted to our servers during your live session.
- Storage Only Upon Save: Your recording is only uploaded to our secure cloud storage if you choose to "Save/Share" your Warp. If you close the session without saving, the audio data is permanently deleted from your device's temporary memory and is never seen by us.
- No Behavioral Analysis: We do not transcribe, analyse, or "listen" to your recordings for advertising profiling, AI training, or behavioral tracking.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following purposes:
- Service Delivery: We use your specific content data (such as warp edit points, audio files, and visual settings) and metadata (timestamps) to save your creations, generate unique shareable URLs, and display the version history (Evolution) of your sessions.
- Improving the Site: Understanding how users interact with the 3D tools helps us optimise performance and user experience.
- Communication: If you opt-in, we may use your email address to send you updates regarding "Experiment No. 2," new features, future projects, and occasional marketing regarding Webb Warp and the creator, Dan Webb. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Marketing Optimisation: Meta Pixel allows us to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and understand our audience.
- Aggregated Analytics: We analyse anonymised traffic trends to guide future updates for "Experiment No. 1" and subsequent projects.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
This Site uses cookies and similar technologies (like pixels) to function effectively and improve your browsing experience.
You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some features of the Site may not function correctly without them.
6. Third-Party Services
We use reputable third-party platforms to provide analytics, performance tracking, and email services:
- Google Analytics: Used to understand site traffic and usage patterns.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel: Used to track the performance of advertisements and site visits.
- MailerLite: Used to manage our email subscriber list and send newsletters. Their privacy policy is available at mailerlite.com.
- Cloudflare, Inc.: Used for content delivery network (CDN) services, security, and performance optimisation. Cloudflare processes all traffic data in accordance with their privacy policies.
These providers have their own privacy policies, and your data is handled in accordance with their terms.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or trade your personal information. We may share anonymised usage data with service providers (like Google or Meta) solely to operate and improve the Site, or when required by law.
8. Security of Your Information
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. However, no internet transmission is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Consent: We use cookies and tracking technologies (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) only with your consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
- Legitimate Interest: We process anonymised usage data to maintain the security and performance of the Webb Warp platform.

If applicable, you may make such a request using the contact information below.
13. Do-Not-Track Controls
